About the Programme
Profile of the Programme
The purpose of the Automotive Technology Program is to train vocational professionals who can follow industry developments, respond to the changing needs of the workforce, possess high-level technical knowledge and skills, are innovative and socially responsible, capable of taking initiative, and meet the qualifications sought by the relevant sectors.
After completing the basic courses, the program focuses on field-specific courses. In order to reinforce the knowledge taught with course materials, students are required to complete one academic semester of workplace-based practical training. Within this framework, collaborations are established with public institutions and private sector companies, and the Workplace Training Practice (3+1 Model) is implemented. Thanks to this training model, students gain valuable work experience before graduation.
Graduates of the program have the opportunity to transfer to bachelor's degree programs, either through formal education or distance education systems, in accordance with the provisions of the "Regulation on the Continuation of Graduates of Vocational Schools and Open Education Associate Degree Programs to Undergraduate Education," published in the Official Gazette dated February 19, 2002, and numbered 24676.
