Specific Arrangements for the Recognition of Prior Learning
The processes regarding the crediting of prior learning in the Automotive Technology Program are carried out in accordance with the "Başkent University Regulation on Exemption and Adaptation Procedures," which was approved by the Başkent University Senate on January 16, 2020 (Decision No. 867).
A Transfer, Adaptation, and Exemption Committee has been established within the Kahramankazan Vocational School. This committee evaluates exemption requests submitted through the Başkent University Student Affairs Office at the beginning and end of each academic term and carries out the exemption procedures based on the relevant regulation.
In addition, students admitted to the program (other than through transfer) may also request exemption for courses previously completed at other universities. These exemptions are processed by the program's academic advisor in accordance with the same regulation after the student's admission.
