Course DescriptionThis course, which covers the basic principles and classifications of internal combustion engines, aims to teach students the theoretical and practical working principles of spark-ignition engines. Within the scope of the course, the structure of two-stroke and four-stroke Otto engines, along with their main and auxiliary systems, is examined in detail. In addition, comprehensive information is provided on the fuel systems used in these engines and other subsystems that affect engine performance, enabling students to gain a holistic perspective on the subject. By the end of the course, students will have a thorough understanding of the operation and components of spark-ignition engines.
