Course Description

In this course, students will learn the basic design knowledge, the organization of the elements of art according to the principles of artistic regulation; to look and see, to learn to distinguish, to make use of the ability to develop and use the original skills, such as visual information through the individual's first self and then to look at the environment with a critical eye; aesthetic perception development, original shaping problem-solving ability that develops the ability to do research by learning to do essay research. At the end of this course, students; historical, social and economic conditions, art and design processes, the ability to establish a relationship between aesthetic theories, criticism and comparisons to make the level of analysis and criticism, art theories and criticisms to make the level of the ability to speak and analyze.

1^st Week	Knowing and distinguishing the concepts of color bar, black and white (40's) design and art studies.
2^nd Week	Gestalt Theory and Principles: Similarity, sustainability, completion, closeness, transparency, figure-ground relationship, visual balance, visual literacy
3^rd Week	Design Elements and Applications: Composition, point, line, Form, Tone, Texture, Movement, Direction in Plate Presentation
4^th Week	Color Theory and Applications: Color in Plate Presentation
5^th Week	Surface, Balance, Rhythm, Spacing, Repetition in Design Principles and Plate Presentation
6^th Week	Aesthetic basic concepts and design relationship
7^th Week	Meta-Aesthetic Practice: Unity, repetition, contrast, harmony, exercises
8^th Week	Midterm Exam
9^th Week	Meta Estetik Project: Plate Presentation Applications
