Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, the students;

  1. Defines measurement units as well as scalar and vector quantities; understands the basic principles of one- and two-dimensional motion and applies Newton's laws of motion to solve related problems.
  2. Explains the relationships among work, power, and energy; uses the principle of conservation of energy to perform calculations related to physical systems.
  3. Analyzes fundamental electrostatic concepts, Coulomb?s Law, and the relationship between electric field and potential; evaluates series and parallel connections in direct current circuits and performs circuit calculations.
  4. Describes the formation, characteristics, and technological applications of magnetic fields.
