Program of Audiology

At the end of this course, the students;

1. Identify the effects of hearing loss on language and literacy development in early childhood.
2. Develop effective strategies to support the literacy skills of hearing-impaired children.
3. Have knowledge of how various instructional materials can be adapted for children with hearing loss.
4. Adopt and explain appropriate pedagogical approaches to support literacy development in early childhood.
5. Acquire skills in using appropriate teaching techniques and technological supports for children with hearing loss.
6. Identify activities and practices that will enhance the language and communication skills of hearing-impaired children.
7. Explain how to use appropriate tools and methods to monitor and evaluate the development of hearing-impaired children.
8. Explain ways to collaborate with families and educational institutions in the literacy processes of children with hearing loss.
