Course DescriptionThe Research Methods course aims to explain the steps of scientific research, starting with a research question, through literature review, developing hypotheses, defining/controlling variables, and gaining knowledge about research methods for testing hypotheses. It also aims to explain the steps of scientific research, up to and including sampling methods. Ethical violations and referencing in scientific research will be discussed. The differences between surveys and scales will be addressed, and the process of preparing a survey or adapting a scale will be explained. Experimental research designs will be explained in detail with examples. The writing of an article summary and report will be conducted based on this knowledge.
