Specific Admission Requirements
To have achieved a minimum score of 55 on the ALES (Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Exam)
610 GRE
450 GMAT
*The equivalencies of ALES in GRE-GMAT and the equivalence of YDS, E-YDS, YÖKDİL exams with other foreign language exams will be made according to the decisions of YÖK, ÖSYM and the University Senate
It is essential for the candidates to meet at least one of the requerements below:
To hold an undergraduate diploma from a faculty of education.
To have completed a teacher certification program or a master program of secondary education, field-specific teacher education without thesis.
Not to be currently registered in any of higher education programs.
English proficiency (one of the following)
TOEFL CBT: 170-172
TOEFL PBT: 497-499
TOEFL IBT: 66
YDS: 55
IELTS: 3,5
For the applicant who has not achieved any of the scores above should secure at least 55 points on the proficiency exam given by the English Language Department at Başkent University.
GPA Requirement (If Applicable)
50% of ALES score,
30% of the interview score,
20% of the diploma grade will be taken.
Overall success grade below 65 out of 100
The candidate is considered unsuccessful
