Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
A student's course performance is determined by evaluating both midterm and final exam grades. Semester grades are comprised of marks awarded for quizzes, midterm exams, and?depending on the nature of the course?assignments, applications, and practical work. Within the credit system, the type and weighting of midterm and end-of-semester assessments (exams, assignments, practical work, etc.) are reported by the instructor to the relevant department head within the first two weeks of the semester and announced to students by the administration of the relevant academic unit. The final assessment is determined by the instructor using one of the letter grades listed below, taking into account the overall performance level of all students enrolled in the course.
