About the Programme
General Information
The Department of Biomedical Engineering began offering undergraduate education in the 2001?2002 academic year. As of 2026, the departments full-time staff consists of 7 Professors, 1 Associate Professor, 10 Assistant Professors, and 7 Research Assistants.
Baskent University's English proficiency requirement and the programs policy of conducting instruction entirely in English ensure that every student graduates with a level of professional English proficiency adequate for their field.
Final-year students have the opportunity to carry out their graduation projects within the framework of university-industry collaboration during their 7th and 8th semesters. Some of these projects receive support from TÜBİTAK. All projects are showcased to industry representatives at the Graduation Projects Exhibition.
Our students can participate in the ERASMUS program available to students from European Union member countries and gain international experience.
