Course DescriptionThis course treats publication design not merely as a layout and arrangement activity, but as a comprehensive content production process where the designer acts as an "editor" and "author". Within the scope of the course, alongside technical foundations such as advanced grid systems, micro-typography, and editorial hierarchy, contemporary concepts such as "book as object," artist books, and post-digital publishing are examined. Students develop experimental and industry-standard publication projects that combine the tactile power of printed media with the possibilities of digital platforms, and conduct academic research and produce publications on the subject.
