Course DescriptionThis course introduces Building Information Modeling (BIM) and its applications in the construction industry. Students learn to use BIM software, including Revit Architecture, Revit Structure, Revit MEP, and Navisworks Manage, to create, coordinate, and manage project information. Emphasis is placed on collaboration between designers and constructors, exploring how design intent is communicated, coordinated, and implemented in practice. Students develop an understanding of BIM-based workflows, interdisciplinary coordination, and integrated project delivery methods that enhance collaboration and efficiency in construction projects.
