About the Programme

Key Learning Outcomes

  1. PO1Knowledge in mathematics, natural sciences, fundamental engineering, computer-based computation, and Civil Engineering-specific subjects; ability to apply this knowledge to solve complex engineering problems.
  2. PO2Ability to define, formulate, and analyze complex engineering problems by using knowledge of basic sciences, mathematics, and engineering, while considering the relevant UN Sustainable Development Goals.
  3. PO3Ability to design creative solutions for complex engineering problems; to design systems, processes, devices, or products under realistic constraints and conditions to meet current and future needs.
  4. PO4Ability to select and use appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling with an awareness of their limitations, to analyze and solve complex engineering problems.
  5. PO5Ability to conduct literature reviews, design and conduct experiments, collect data, analyze and interpret results using research methods to investigate complex engineering problems.
  6. PO6Awareness of the impacts of engineering practices on society, health and safety, economy, sustainability, and environment within the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goals; awareness of legal consequences of engineering solutions.
  7. PO7Knowledge of professional ethics; awareness of non-discrimination, impartiality, and inclusivity in all engineering practices.
  8. PO8Ability to work effectively as an individual, as well as a member or leader in disciplinary and interdisciplinary teams (face-to-face, remote, or hybrid).
  9. PO9Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral forms on technical issues, taking into account differences (in education, language, and profession) of the target audience.
  10. PO10Knowledge of business practices such as project management and economic feasibility analysis; awareness of entrepreneurship and innovation.
  11. PO11Ability for independent and lifelong learning, adaptation to emerging technologies, and critical thinking related to technological changes.
