At the end of this course, the students;
- Evaluate the processes of oxidative stress formation by learning basic information about free radicals.
- Evaluate the antioxidant defense system mechanisms that develop in response to free radicals by learning basic information about antioxidants.
- Interpret the state of oxidative damage in biological systems using the information they have learned about the measurement methods of reactive species.
- Interpret the relationships between nutrition, disease, and aging processes with free radicals and antioxidants.
