Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, the students;

  1. Explain the structure, function and regulation of the nervous system and cells.
  2. Explain the development of the nervous system.
  3. Explain and interpret the organization of the brain depending on its anatomical structure.
  4. Evaluate the relationship between neurotransmitter systems and working principles and neurological diseases.
  5. Explain the learning and memory system using the principles of neurotransmitter systems and axon dynamics.
  6. Interpret the working principles of sensory, movement and central control systems by considering the anatomical structure of the brain.
