Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, the students;

  1. Explain the basic role of homeostasis and related mechanisms in human physiology.
  2. Understand and evaluate the cardiovascular systems and the locomotion and support systems in the body.
  3. Comprehend the knowledge of the structure and functions of the nervous system and endocrine systems that are the main control systems in the body and answer the questions.
  4. Interpret knowledge about the basic steps in the digestion and absorption of food and in the regulation of water and inorganic ions in kidneys.
  5. Comprehend the immune system and reproductive system and answer the questions.
  6. Make a connection between physiology and molecular biology genetics in applications related to the subject; gain an overview of research on human genetic diseases and make written and oral presentations on a case-by-case basis.
