About the Programme
Profile of the Programme
Purpose of the Control and Automation Technology Program; To train professional staff who follow professional developments, respond to changing workforce needs, have high professional knowledge and skills, are innovative and socially responsible, can take initiative, and have the qualifications sought by the relevant sector.
With the completion of the basic courses, emphasis is placed on the courses related to the field. Practical training on the job is mandatory for one academic semester to support and consolidate the knowledge taught through course materials in the program. In this context, workplace training (3+1 model) is carried out in cooperation with public institutions and private sectors. Thanks to this education model, students have work experience before they graduate.
Students who graduate from the department: In accordance with the provisions of the "Regulation on the Continuation of Undergraduate Education of Graduates of Vocational Schools and Open Education Associate Degree Programs" published in the Resmi Gazete dated 19/02/2002 and numbered 24676, they have the opportunity to make a vertical transfer to programs that study with formal or distance education system.
