Course DescriptionThe main goal of interior design is to design physical and perceptual environments so that actions can be performed as desired within the human-space relationship and physical, psychological and social needs can be met under the most appropriate conditions. The environment should be accessible not only for healthy individuals but also for users with all disability groups. Within the scope of the course, the definition of disabled is met by individuals with orthopedic/hearing/visual disabilities. Disabled people can interact with the environment as long as the environment does not prevent them and unimpeded access can be provided. Within the scope of the course, the physical capabilities of disabled individuals will be defined with anthropometric measurements and ergonomic data will be explained within the relationship of interior space. As a course outcome, a presentation for research and a design for application will be made.
