Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, the students;

  1. Developing the ability to define the concept of spatial atmosphere through different theoretical approaches
  2. Analyzing the components that constitute spatial atmosphere
  3. Developing alternative methods of representation to express spatial atmosphere
Mode of DeliveryFace to face
PrerequisitesNo
Recommended Optional Programme Components
Course DescriptionThis course aims to examine the concept of atmosphere in interior spaces through its theoretical dimensions. Students learn the theoretical approaches that define spatial atmosphere and gain experience in using this concept as a tool for analysis and design. The course encourages students to analyze the atmosphere of an interior space through sensory, experiential, and analytical methods, and to reinterpret and express this atmosphere using alternative modes of representation.
