Course Description

İÇT 201 Design Studio course is a process study aimed at understanding, evaluating and synthesizing the design phenomenon and providing the student with a general view. In this process; it is aimed to solve the given design problem effectively by analyzing the form and function of the space. Developing analytical thinking skills and providing the ability to present research and design problems in terms of communication are also sub-goals of the studio study. In this direction, the course description includes sketch work, development of plan, section, perspective, drawing techniques, providing model making skills, and providing awareness of ergonomic approaches within the scope of using ratio, measurement and scale.
