Course DescriptionThe Field Practicum course is a hands-on course designed to enable students to apply their theoretical knowledge of occupational health and safety (OHS) in real-world workplace settings. In this course, students observe the structure and operational processes of OHS activities in the workplace; by reviewing prepared OHS documents, they learn how theoretical knowledge is applied in the field. At the same time, they conduct on-site observations by participating in OSH training sessions, field inspections, and workplace monitoring activities carried out at workplaces. They gain practical knowledge and experience by participating in activities such as emergency drills and the on-site use of work equipment. The course provides an important learning process that enables students to apply their professional competencies in the field and develop awareness regarding OSH practices.
