Course DescriptionHearing aids form the foundation of the amplification systems course. Because it's a specialized course, it's a course that will likely pique your interest. However, since there's a lot of new material, it's crucial that you continue with the course. By the end of the semester, you'll have learned in detail the basic components of hearing aids, their operating principles, the features of digital hearing aids, key points to consider when fitting earmolds, how to evaluate hearing aid function, real-ear measurements, and the theoretical knowledge of bilateral fittings.
