Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, the students;

  1. Distinguish between the concepts of statistics, biostatistics, the use of statistics in audiology, and basic biostatistics concepts.
  2. Learn and distinguish the concepts of distribution structure, data types, and variable structure in a data set.
  3. Acquire skills in conducting, presenting, and interpreting descriptive statistical analyses of research.
  4. Construct tables and draw graphs appropriate to the data set in research.
  5. Understand the necessity of calculating sample size for scientific research.
