determine the place and importance of literary genres in language teaching
compare literary genres in terms of their characteristics
select literary genres that can be used in mother tongue and foreign language teaching
analyze and criticize literary genres used in language teaching materials

Course Description

Genre features of literary texts, teaching of literary genres, meeting the ?general objectives of Turkish lesson? with literary genres, use of literary genres as materials in teaching Turkish and Turkish to foreigners, evaluation of literary genres in Turkish course books.
