Profile of the Programme
The non-thesis Masters Program is completed in one and a half years, comprising three academic semesters. Students take compulsory and elective courses during the first two semesters. In the final semester, they complete their term projects alongside their coursework. Each academic semester consists of at least 14 weeks. Courses are offered on a semester basis and have no prerequisites. According to the Başkent University Graduate Education, Teaching and Examination Regulations, instructors are required to administer at least one midterm examination and one final examination in each academic year. Assignments, projects, laboratory work, and similar activities may be assessed in lieu of a midterm examination.
