Course Description

This course addresses the fundamental principles of group work conducted within the scope of family counseling, group processes, leadership skills, and group practices designed to meet diverse family needs.

3^rd Week	Group formation, member selection, and preparation process
4^th Week	Stages of group development and group dynamics
5^th Week	Roles, responsibilities, and leadership skills of the group leader
6^th Week	Communication, interaction, and the therapeutic relationship in the group process
7^th Week	Planning and structuring group sessions
8^th Week	Midterm
9^th Week	Group work with parents
10^th Week	Group work with couples
11^th Week	Group work with families with children and adolescents
12^th Week	Group work with families experiencing crisis, loss, and divorce
13^th Week	Ethical principles, challenges, and conflict management in the group process
