Course DescriptionThis course covers the fundamental principles, production methods, and industrial applications of powder metallurgy technology. The course examines powder production techniques, the characteristic properties of powders, mechanical alloying, molding technologies, pressing processes, and sintering methods. Additionally, the course addresses the evaluation of the mechanical properties of sintered parts, free-form manufacturing, finishing processes, and the applications of powder metallurgy in various sectors. The goal is for students to understand powder metallurgy and its production processes, their effects on material properties, and the selection of appropriate production methods, thereby enabling them to evaluate industrial applications.
