Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, the students;

Know basic theories of behavioral disorders and their treatment.
Apply theoretical knowledge about behavioral disorders and recognize the meaning of children and adolescents.
Understand the relationship between somatic diseases-symptoms and behavioral disorders within the framework of competence
Show awareness to the medical support for behavioral disorders.
Define and apply interventions and practices within his/her capacity.
Conduct appropriate guidance for behavioral disorders.
Carry out the teamwork required in the intervention process for any behavioral disorder.

Course Description

Causes of behavioral problems in children and adolescents, classification of these problems, diagnostical criteria and causes behavioral disorders in children and adolescences intervention methods and clinical observations.
