Course DescriptionThe student will gain general knowledge about aviation history and the aviation profession within the scope of this course. They will learn what an aircraft is, its types, the historical development of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), UAV configurations, and will be able to classify UAVs. They will be able to classify unmanned aerial vehicles according to their tasks and will have knowledge about unmanned aerial vehicle activities carried out in our country. They will learn the basic parts necessary for an aircraft to fly and the forces required to overcome them. They will learn aviation terms and definitions, flight axes, and main structures. They will learn the concepts that affect flight: dihedral, its types, wingspan, airfoil, angle of attack, stall speed, perdövites, aspect ratio, Pitot tube, payload, center of gravity, and their effects on flight.
