Course DescriptionOne of the most important functions of the immune system is to defend the host against pathogens (bacteria, viruses, parasites, prions) that try to enter the body from the outside, and to remove those that have entered the body from the body. In this course, the defense mechanisms of the immune system against various infectious agents, the escape mechanisms of these agents from the immune system, immunological diagnosis and treatment methods will be discussed.
