Describe the professional terminology regarding the field of journalism and know the current debates about it.
Explain the process of news gathering and production.

Course Description

The aim of this course is to give students basic information about the journalism, news gathering and production process, and to enable them to perform news gathering/writing practices using this information.

Course Contents

3^rd Week	The process of news production
4^th Week	The process of news writing: the structure of the news and time in the news
5^th Week	Basic rules of news writing

8^th Week	The technique of straight pyramid, and applied news writing
