| Course Description | It is planned to outline radio, the world's first electronic mass communication tool. Considering that the students who chose the course did not take the Radio Broadcasting and Practises I course in the first semester, the students of this elective course must learn basic radio and broadcasting information. After this information is shared, the production process, program-making, and presentation techniques will be explained. Efforts will be made to provide students with editing systems and other technical acquisitions. After explaining the experiences related to classical radio and television program production, modern broadcasting and changing broadcasting norms will also be discussed. Edited programs and applications, which are now extremely easy to access over the Internet, will be introduced. It is planned for students to make programs in the light of all the programming information given. Both recorded and live broadcasts and programs made through the studio environment, classical broadcast devices, and automation systems will be explained meticulously and all the information will be made concrete through applications. Technical equipment, essential devices, and today's developing electronic and digital publishing materials will also be discussed. Types and subtypes of radio will be mentioned. The place of radio in the world and Turkey will be explained. The broadcast personnel working in the radio will be defined and their duties will be studied in detail. Programming via social media applications and some new products such as podcasts, videocasts, and TVcasts will also be specifically discussed and explained with examples. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
