At the end of this course, the students;
- Observes healthcare institution operations on site to gain practical knowledge of institutional structures and unit activities.
- Effectively performs patient admission, discharge, filing, archiving, and correspondence procedures in healthcare institutions.
- During the internship, students develop their communication skills with patients, their relatives, and healthcare personnel.

| Course Description | This course aims to enable students to apply the theoretical knowledge they have acquired in healthcare institutions in a practical setting. During their summer internship, students observe the operations of healthcare institutions firsthand and directly apply patient admission, discharge, filing, archiving, correspondence, and secretarial services. At the same time, they develop effective communication skills with patients, their relatives, and healthcare personnel, thereby gaining a sense of professional responsibility. The internship is a fundamental practical process that helps students reinforce their professional competencies and adapt to the workplace environment before graduation. |
