Course Description

This course introduces basic concepts of health, health services and rehabilitation. In the content of the course several topics are discussed, like: health and diseases, types and delivery system of health services, health care from the classical therapy to the present day, relation between health care and health needs; the role and function of physical therapist in the health services delivery system; social policy and programs for disabled persons in Turkey and in other countries.
