Course DescriptionEspecially in recent years, this concept, which is frequently encountered in different sectors, public institutions, non-governmental organizations and academia all over the world, has led to the strengthening of the concept of effective project management, and many national and international project calls have been presented to university students in line with the development goals set by the United Nations. However, effective project management seems to be an uphill struggle as it requires various tasks and responsibilities, and it is seen that the project ideas prepared by undergraduate communication students in the fields of design, cinema, advertising and public relations are not prepared for national and international project support calls. The European Union, the United Nations, many non-governmental organizations and public institutions open project calls in different fields, and the demands of students studying in the undergraduate departments of universities to learn how to find these projects, to prepare application forms and to carry out projects are rapidly increasing. Within the scope of this course, all the processes of an effective project management process, especially the project calls prepared for undergraduate students by TÜBİTAK, which plays a leading role in the scientific studies of our country, will be discussed from the stage of generating ideas to the stage of searching for a project call, and students will turn the ideas they have developed in their own departments into projects.
