Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, the students;

Learn how to access national macroeconomic indicators.
Understand how main macroeconomic indicators are calculated, by which institutions, and through which methods.
Analyze and understand the causal relationships between macroeconomic indicators using fundamental concepts, models, theories, and tools used in macroeconomics.
Correctly evaluate the current state of the Turkish economy using statistical data.

Course Description

The course comprehensively analyzes the conceptual and theoretical framework of basic macroeconomic indicators and those related to the Turkish economy, as well as the causal relationships between them.
