Course Description

In this course, the development of popular music culture in Turkey; performers, composers, songwriters, arrangers and various movements that influenced its historical changes is examined.

7^th Week	Analysis of songs and lyrics

9^th Week	Composers who left their mark on the 60s and 70s
10^th Week	Turkish popular music in the 80s
11^th Week	Turkish popular music in the 90s
12^th Week	Popular music in Turkey; The development and important representatives of Arabesque and Anatolian Rock.
