Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, the students;

  1. will be able to prepare a research proposal in accordance with positivist epistemology, develop measurement devices to be used, collect data from the field using them, analyze and report.
  2. will be able to learn parametric statistical tests with SPSS program.
  3. To make inference and predictions based on multivariate and multilevel modeling.
Mode of DeliveryFace to face

Recommended Optional Programme ComponentsNo
Course DescriptionThe main aim of this course is to prepare a research proposal, to develop measurement instruments to be used in the proposal, to collect data from the field, to analyze and report them. For this purpose, the students will learn how to develop scale at different levels, to make validity and reliability calculations and to interpret the quantitative data they collect with parametric materiality tests (eg ANOVA, MANOVA, Factor Analysis, etc.). Students will gain knowledge about Excel and SPSS programs. Students will also be informed about Mixed Design research plans.
