Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, the students;

  1. Perform the structural analysis of 2D and 3D frame systems using the direct stiffness method and specialized techniques,
  2. Explain and apply the fundamental concepts of the principle of virtual work, nonlinear analysis, and the finite element method,
  3. Calculate and interpret the behavior of structures under different loading conditions,
  4. Develop solutions to engineering problems by using structural analysis software.
