Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, the students;

  1. Define statically determinate and indeterminate structural systems and explain the fundamental solution methods,
  2. Calculate internal forces and displacements of structures using energy methods, force methods, slope-deflection, moment distribution, and matrix displacement methods,
  3. Apply appropriate mathematical and numerical methods to solve structural analysis problems,
  4. Interpret solution results by using modern engineering tools and software employed in structural analysis.
