Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, the students;

  1. Develop appropriate solution algorithms for Input-Output problems,
  2. Develop appropriate solution algorithms for decision-making problems,
  3. Develop appropriate solution algorithms for looping (iterative) problems and apply them to the solution of complex engineering problems,
  4. Acquire knowledge of computational calculation and algorithm development in the fields of Civil Engineering and fundamental engineering.
Mode of DeliveryFace to face

Course DescriptionThe goal of this introductory course to MATLAB is to understand better computer software, to translate everyday problems into computer-language and to develop algorithms for civil engineering problems. The students will learn how to write, compile, and execute some programs in MATLAB. The students will also practice reading, understanding, modifying and debugging in these programming languages.
