About the Programme
General Information
Baskent University Department of Paramedics (First and Emergency Aid) was established in 2008 within the body of Adana Health Services Vocational School. The department is located in Baskent University Adana Application and Research Center Kisla Health Campus. Students are accepted to the program each year according to the quotas determined. Graduates work as ambulance and emergency care technicians. While they can work in the emergency services of hospitals, 112 Center / Stations, ambulance services, they can be assigned to manage every acute (emergency) situation in other critical units of hospitals and even in every public life area. (Land-Air Ambulance Companies, Fire, Police, Health Units, racing areas, large resorts, ships, airports, campuses, large shopping malls, etc...) In our department, although the language of instruction is Turkish, it is also taught in form of a foreign language as basic English.
