At the end of this course, the students;
- By distinguishing between the fundamental hardware and software concepts that make up a computer, the user operates hardware components physically, correctly, and safely.
- It explains the operating principles of the motherboard, processor, memory, and storage units in a computer system, and analyzes the interactions between these components and their impact on software performance.
- It selects the appropriate hardware configuration by evaluating the compatibility between hardware components (motherboard, processor, memory, graphics card, power supply, etc.) according to different user needs (office, gaming, workstation). It assembles/installs the components completely and without errors, taking the necessary safety precautions (static electricity, cabling, etc.).
- Identifies the source of the problem and develops proposed solutions using a systematic approach when dealing with computer malfunction scenarios (such as failure to boot, freezing, or sluggish performance) or the improper functioning of internal and external hardware components (such as printers, motherboards, or modems).
- Conducts research on a selected piece of hardware (e.g., next-generation storage units) and delivers an effective presentation by supporting the technical information obtained with verbal and visual materials.
