Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, the students;

  1. Learn the scientific approach necessary to conduct a research project in the field of biological molecules and biochemical studies.
  2. Learn to design and carry out experiments in a research laboratory.
  3. Understand how to analyze, evaluate, and interpret experimental results.
  4. Be able to define roles for individual and/or team work and collaborate effectively and harmoniously.
  5. Prepare a project report and poster that includes a literature review, project management plan, the work conducted, and future goals, with an interpretation of the results.
  6. Gain the ability to make presentations.

Course DescriptionThis course is designed for students to implement the experimental design they developed in their research project for the MBGE453-Graduation Project course, analyze the results they obtained, and create a results report. The course focuses on biological molecules and biochemical methods, allowing students to learn and apply various related techniques. Additionally, based on their hypotheses, they may test the activity of target biological molecules (such as drugs or inhibitors) using biochemical studies with appropriate molecules. At the end of the term, they present their projects either orally or by preparing a poster.
