At the end of this course, the students;

  1. Explains the basic concepts of biostatistics and its use in the field of Molecular and Biology.
  2. Explains variable types and variable summarization using tables and graphs.
  3. Uses their knowledge of measures of central tendency and measures of dispersion and statistically summarizes data related to their field using the knowledge they have acquired.
  4. Some basic parametric methods and correlation and regression analysis can be applied in the field of health.
  5. Nonparametric basic statistical tests can be applied in the field of health.
  6. Recognize the basic statistical methods used in studies conducted in the relevant literature, understand the results obtained from these methods, and discuss them.
  7. Apply all the statistical techniques you have learned using the SPSS program.
