| Course Description | The course is about the structure and function of the nervous system, and its influence on human psychological function. It includes the biological insights about neural cell structure and function, intra-and intercellular signaling systems, organization of the brain and spinal cord. Neural bases of processing the sensory information and programming of the motor response as well as higher human psychological function such as perception, attention, learning, memory, emotion, decision making and social behaviors are covered in the course. Finally, research techniques in neuroscience studies such as fMRI, EEG and TMS are introduced. |
