About the Programme

Key Learning Outcomes

  1. PO1Demonstrates fundamental theoretical knowledge, aesthetic awareness, technical competence, and practical skills in the fields of visual culture, photography, cinema, visual communication, and media.
  2. PO2Effectively uses contemporary camera, lighting, sound, and recording technologies employed in photography, video, and digital image production.
  3. PO3Plans, produces, and presents photographic and video content for news, documentary, advertising, promotional, social media, and artistic purposes.
  4. PO4Applies the principles of image aesthetics, cinematography, composition, and visual storytelling effectively across different media platforms.
  5. PO5Plans and manages photography and video projects from concept development through production, post-production, and final delivery.
  6. PO6Effectively uses contemporary image editing, video editing, and digital content production software and technologies.
  7. PO7Critically evaluates media content from aesthetic, technical, social, cultural, and ethical perspectives.
  8. PO8Demonstrates knowledge of national and international ethical principles, legal regulations, and professional responsibilities related to the fields of photography and camera operation and applies them in professional practice.
  9. PO9Explains the historical development and contemporary trends of photography and camera operation in Türkiye and around the world.
