Analysis of atonal pieces in terms of post-tonal theory.

5^th Week	Bartok, Sonata, I
6^th Week	Twelve-tone series. Basic operations. Subset structure. Invariants.
7^th Week	Schoenberg, Suite for Piano, Op. 25, Gavotte
8^th Week	Stravinsky, In Memoriam Dylan Thomas
9^th Week	Webern and derivation.
10^th Week	Webern, String Quartet, Op. 28, I
11^th Week	Schoenberg and hexachordal combinatoriality
12^th Week	Schoenberg, Piano Piece, Op. 33a
13^th Week	Stravinsky and rotational arrays. Crawford and her "triple passacaglia"
14^th Week	Boulez and multiplication. Babbit and trichordal arrays.
