Course DescriptionEvaluating cities as socio-spatial phenomena, this course studies cities with respect to their spatial analysis and their spatial narratives through the framework of architectural history. Throughout the semester the course aims to analyze Mediterranean cities under two modules regarding their physical and social constructs. Within this context, cities are, on one hand, discussed through urban forms and patterns considering their morphological aspects, and on the other, according to production and representation of space and their multiple meanings through visual and textual spatial narratives.
