| Course Description | This course focuses on the design and construction processes and fundamental transformations occurring in architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) professions defined by the multidisciplinary working platforms brought together with the developing building information modeling (BIM) systems. It expects research based studies on the design and production processes transformed by the opportunities like the integrated control of architectural design parameters that are brought by BIM, which provides an interface for architectural design. It also aims to provide process based research and solutions through examining the interdisciplinary integration opportunities of BIM in studies on buildings? technical, financial, environmental, and social performances. |
